The application property is located within the Green Belt.

The existing building to the north of the dwelling is field shelter and store which has occupied the site for many years and is in poor condition.

The proposal seeks to replace the building but retaining the same use and remaining sympathetic to the rural landscape. This accord with the planning policy PPG2 in relation to the Green Belt.

The proposal consists in the demolition and replace a crumbling and unsafe field shelter and storage area of approx. 30.00 m², with another having the same area. The materials chosen to build the new outbuilding will be integrated with the context. The external timber cladding is like the typical sheds that can be found on the back garden.
